The Opportunity:
Were hiring a Head Chef / Culinary Director to shape and scale the culinary vision across three core verticals: prepared meals (retail SKUs), a dine-in kitchen, and large-format events. This is a rare opportunity to build something meaningful with full access to exceptional local ingredients, and to do it alongside a passionate team that values innovation, transparency, and flavor above all.
Youll bring ideas to life across multiple platformsfrom online to on-siteand work in lockstep with sourcing, operations, and marketing to deliver a product thats not only delicious but operationally sound and scalable. This is not a fine dining plating gig. Were seeking a culinary leader who can balance creativity with structure, mentorship with execution, and quality with volume.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead all recipe development across prepared foods, restaurant menus, and events
- Build systems and documentation to ensure scalability, consistency, and margin optimization
- Partner with sourcing and marketing teams to drive seasonal innovation
- Conduct ongoing tastings and product development sessions to refine recipes and shelf life
- Develop and train the BOH team in technique, kitchen culture, and ingredient application
- Oversee culinary execution for high-volume events and weddings (150+ guests)
- Lead innovation around shrink reduction, sustainability, and thoughtful menu engineering
- Collaborate with leadership to drive long-term culinary strategy and margin improvement
What Were Looking For:
- 5+ years in culinary leadership, with experience across fast casual, meal delivery, catering, or multi-channel concepts
- Strong understanding of recipe costing, production efficiency, and scaling for volume
- Passionate about local food systems, clean ingredient sourcing, and bold, honest flavors
- Startup-ready mindset: curious, agile, solutions-focused, and unafraid of failure
- Excellent communicator who thrives in collaborative, cross-functional environments
- A coach and mentornot a dictator or divawith a calm, ego-free leadership style
- Experience with sourcing directly from farms or working closely with ingredient-focused partners is a strong plus
