Dining Room Manager Job Summary
Our Client is a busy upscale Italian inspired restaurant on the South Shore. They consistently provide excellent customer service, and they are searching for a passionate Dining Room Manager to ensure that their guests receive the best dining experience possible. You will be responsible for ensuring the dining room is ready for each meal service and motivating staff to be attentive and friendly throughout their shift. When necessary, you will also need to resolve any issues customers may have with the food or their experience.
Dining Room Manager Duties and Responsibilities
Examine the dining room before each meal service and ensure it is ready with all the necessary supplies
Manage staff schedules and encourage top-notch customer service
Ensure staffed is properly trained and adhering to all steps of service
Enforce standard operating procedures
Resolve customer complaints
Efficiently execute nightly closing procedures including cash reconciliation and proper reporting
Dining Room Manager Requirements and Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
2-4 years of fine dining experience in a high volume, full-service restaurant
Some Private Dining / Events experience required
Extensive knowledge of front-of-house operations
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Flexible schedule
Salary $54000-$58000 + Bonus, Benefits, Accrued PTO
