Energy Assessor

Know your way around HERO software? Enjoy the technical side of compliance but also like helping people find practical solutions instead of creating roadblocks?

A growing specialist consultancy is looking for a NatHERS Assessor to join their Brisbane team.

This is not a high-volume box-ticking environment. You’ll be working with architects, designers and builders across residential and commercial projects, delivering assessments that are technically sound, commercially practical and genuinely useful to the people relying on them.

You’ll be trusted to work independently, solve problems, communicate clearly and keep projects moving.

The role will involve:

• Completing NatHERS assessments
• Modelling using HERO software
• Interpreting plans and technical documentation
• Preparing reports and compliance documentation
• Working with clients to provide practical energy efficiency advice
• Helping resolve compliance challenges with a solutions-focused mindset

You don’t necessarily need to tick every box, but you will need either:

• Cert IV in Home Energy Efficiency and Sustainability; OR
• Minimum 2 years’ experience modelling in HERO software
