Development Manager - Land & Residential Built Form

This privately owned development company, based on the north side of Brisbane, has a strong pipeline of land projects and over 2000 lots to be developed, with over 8 active developments predominantly across North Brisbane. We are looking for a Development Manager who would like to contract through their own ABN for a full-time (in the office) role.

This role is to operate in a contract capacity, managing the full lifecycle of projects, including council liaison, DA approvals, overseeing civil and building works, and coordinating contractors and consultants.

You will be managing multiple projects at any one time, depending on size and stage.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys taking ownership and operating with a high level of autonomy. There will be occasional site travel required.

Requirement:

• Proven track record working for a recognised Australian developer
• Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline
• An individual responsible for land subdivision projects (greater than 100+ lots)
• Exposure to residential built form projects (e.g. townhouses or similar)
• Strong all-round management capability to lead consultants and contractors
• Local government/council experience in South East Queensland
• Ability to work independently and take full ownership of projects
