We are looking for a Drafting Team Leader that has experience leading teams as well as being an important part of the leadership team. The Drafting Manager is responsible for ensuring that plans are completed quickly and accurately to the site. Reporting to the Drafting  Manager you will have a team of drafters and team leaders you will mentor and manage.

The company builds over 300 homes per year in Queensland, both investment and retail (Owner Occupier). With new designs coming out this year, your team will be busy ensuring the accuracy of the working drawings, so that plans are ready for the construction team.

Ideally, you will come from an Australian Building Company that builds over 200 homes per year. You will need 2+ years as a senior drafter/team leader or drafting manager and 10+ years in Drafting.

You will need

• Design Qualifications
• Intermediate / Advanced skills in Revit.
• Previous experience working for an Australian Project Home Builder
• Leadership skills
• Excellent knowledge of the Codes and Regulations in Queensland
• Understanding of local suppliers and materials to help in the design process.
