State Manager - Project Homes - Open to Australian Based Candidates

Join a fast-growing and highly innovative residential builder as their State Manager for Housing, based in Brisbane. This company has a strong reputation for delivering quality homes and maintaining long-term relationships with clients, trades, and developers. They are looking for an experienced leader to take ownership of housing operations and continue driving performance, culture, and growth across the business.

As the State Manager, you will oversee all aspects of the housing division including construction, estimating, drafting, and customer service ensuring that homes are delivered on time, within budget, and to the companys quality standards. You will bring a strategic mindset, commercial acumen, and the ability to motivate and mentor a large team.

What you will be doing:

• Lead the end-to-end delivery of housing projects across Queensland, ensuring consistency and excellence across all departments

• Manage operational performance, budgets, and production targets for a business building 200+ homes per year

• Develop and implement strategies to improve efficiency, cost control, and client satisfaction

• Mentor and support construction, estimating, and administrative leaders to build a high-performing, accountable team culture

• Oversee compliance, safety, and quality assurance processes across all builds

• Liaise with senior management on business performance, forecasts, and future growth opportunities

• Represent the company with professionalism when dealing with clients, suppliers, and key industry partners

To be successful, you will need:

• Extensive experience in residential construction, ideally in a senior leadership role such as State Manager, General Manager, or Operations Manager

• Strong commercial and operational management skills with a deep understanding of the construction process

• Exceptional communication and leadership skills with a focus on building strong, collaborative teams

• Experience managing budgets, forecasts, and strategic planning for large-scale housing operations
