Registered Nurse – Primary Care setting , outstanding package plus housing + work visa

We are working on behalf of an indigenous organisation in Northern Territory wishing to appoint an experienced Primary Care Registered Nurse . this is an exciting role offering lots of variety and responsibility. Based on an island off the coast near Darwin. You would be living in a tropical environment and there are sufficient services to bring your family i.e. schools and jobs for your partner in life if required.

The role:

You will be working within the central medical centre , reporting to the head G.P. Apart from the medical centre, you will be responsible for community visits at outpost . Main focus is on Diabetes programmes , Mothers and Babies, Vaccination programmes and assisting in emergency situations.

To be successful in this role we require:

APHRA registration in place as a Registered Nurse

Experience in Primary Care Nursing (not acute care)

Driver's Licence from your home country

Have the background to qualify for an Australian Work Visa

Be a clear communicator in English and have the flexibility to adapt to island life.
