About the job SQA Engineer
- Develop a thorough understanding of each project, including client workflows, module functionalities, and interconnections between different components.
- Test complete end-to-end workflows rather than individual screens, such as lead-to-deal-to-quote-to-invoice processes or hiring requests progressing through approvals to payroll.
- Prepare test plans and test cases, and test new features before deployment.
- Conduct regression testing before every release to ensure existing features continue to function as expected.
- Log bugs in Jira with clear, detailed descriptions that enable developers to understand and resolve issues without requiring further clarification.
- Re-test resolved bugs and verify that fixes do not introduce issues in other areas of the application.
- Verify role-based access controls to ensure employees, managers, and administrators can access only the information and functionalities permitted for their roles.
- Participate in requirement discussions and client demonstrations, identifying gaps and asking relevant questions to clarify requirements.
- Support clients during User Acceptance Testing (UAT), gather feedback, and translate it into clear, actionable tickets for the development team.
- Prepare concise test reports to keep the team and management informed about testing progress, outstanding issues, and release readiness.
- Maintain test cases, test results, and other testing documentation to ensure accessibility and continuity across the team.
