About the job Associate UX/UI Designer
DevDimensions is on the hunt for an Associate UX/UI Designer who's ready to craft innovative experiences and elevate their digital presence.
Responsibilities:
- Create visually appealing, user-friendly designs for digital products, including websites, mobile applications, and other interactive platforms, aligning solutions with business requirements and goals.
- Conduct user research to understand user needs, behaviors, and preferences, translating findings into actionable design solutions, and defining target audiences through persona development and journey mapping.
- Develop pre-design materials, such as diagrams, flowcharts, and sitemaps, to structure ideas and user journeys, followed by wireframes, mockups, and prototypes to communicate design concepts and interactions effectively.
- Collaborate with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to ensure design feasibility, seamless implementation, and alignment with project objectives, while contributing to design system guidelines and reusable components.
- Conduct UI/UX audits to identify pain points and areas for improvement, ensuring designs adhere to user-centered principles, and accessibility standards, and deliver intuitive, inclusive user experiences.
- Design with a focus on boosting conversion rates and achieving measurable business outcomes, continuously iterating through usability testing and feedback gathering for continuous improvement.
- Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in UX/UI design, supporting the team with impactful presentations for stakeholders and contributing to discussions and brainstorming sessions to foster innovation and creativity.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in CS, SE, Design or a related field. Equivalent work experience will also be considered.
- 0-6 months of professional experience in UX/UI design, preferably working on digital products.
- Strong portfolio showcasing your design skills, creativity, and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in industry-standard design tools such as Figma, and Adobe XD.
- Solid understanding of user-centered design principles and best practices.
- Ability to effectively communicate design concepts and rationale to cross-functional teams.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Excellent time management skills and ability to meet project deadlines.
- Collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Excellent communication.
