About the job SQA Engineer
DevDimensions is on the hunt for SQA Engineer to join the dynamic team! As a Software QA Engineer, you will be responsible for testing a variety of software products, including CMS platforms (WordPress, Shopify, Webflow), web applications built with custom frameworks (Laravel, MERN stack, React.js), and mobile applications (React Native). You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that all software products meet the highest quality standards.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with project teams to understand business requirements and objectives.
- Develop and document detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on project requirements.
- Execute manual test cases to validate software functionality, performance, and usability.
- Conduct manual testing on CMS platforms like WordPress, Shopify, and Webflow.
- Identify and report UI/UX inconsistencies, functional issues, and performance bottlenecks in web applications.
- Conduct manual testing for mobile applications to ensure smooth functionality.
- Validate compatibility across different devices, screen sizes, and OS versions.
- Perform functional, regression, and usability testing for mobile applications.
- Identify, document, and track bugs using defect management tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla, Trello)
- Perform regression testing to ensure updates and bug fixes do not introduce new defects.
- Generate and share detailed test reports to keep stakeholders informed of testing progress and issues.
- Work closely with developers, product managers, and business analysts to align on quality goals.
- Stay updated on industry best practices and new testing methodologies to suggest process improvements.
Requirments:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (preferred).
- 2-3 years of hands-on experience in manual testing.
- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Hands-on experience testing mobile applications.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
- Meticulous attention to detail and a passion for delivering high-quality results.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Preffered Qualifications (Nice to have, Not Mandatory):
- Experience with API testing tools (Postman, REST Assured).
- Understanding of performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner).
- Experience with CI/CD tools and DevOps pipelines.
