The Role: As Purchasing Controller your responsibilities will involve overseeing and optimizing procurement processes within the organization, emphasizing efficient SAP data management, budget management, and vendor relationships. This will include developing strategic procurement plans aligned with organizational objectives, collaborating with finance teams to establish budgets, ensuring compliance with procurement policies, and mitigating risks. Additionally, the role focuses on identifying inefficiencies in procurement processes, implementing best practices for process improvement, utilizing SAP data analytics for insights and reporting, and fostering cross-functional collaboration with internal stakeholders to align procurement activities with overall business goals.

The Company: Our client an internationally recognized product manufacturing company for the automotive industry serving well-known brand names across the globe.

The Location: Hybrid model of work. Business trips to Germany are mandatory in regards with the initial training for the position.

The Candidate: Higher educational degree in business administration, supply chain, finance or another related field. In-depth knowledge of procurement principles and regulations. Excellent negotiation skills paired with the capacity to establish and sustain productive relationships with vendors and suppliers. Proven experience in managing SAP data, encompassing data entry, upkeep, and governance. Outstanding analytical skills, along with expertise in data analysis and reporting tools. Well-versed in budgeting and financial concepts. Exceptional organizational and multitasking capabilities as well as communication and interpersonal skills. Competent in SAP procurement modules and data analytics tools. Proven track record of facilitating process enhancements and executing change initiatives successfully. Excellent level of written and spoken English is required.
