The Role: As an Application Operations Engineer, your primary responsibility will be configuring infrastructure and installing applications on a Windows IIS-hosted platform. You will collaborate with application teams to assess deployment requirements (both hardware and software) and review application installation documentation. You will execute and automate the installation process, ensuring adherence to standards and best practices. Additionally, you will manage the IIS.Net environment, including monitoring application pools, system response times, server health, application deployments, and disaster recovery. Your role will also involve incident and change management processes, working in a matrix organization with QA, ADM, and Infra teams.

The Candidate: You should possess in-depth troubleshooting skills across various technology areas such as .Net, IIS, JBOSS, Apache Tomcat, SQL Server and be knowledgeable in ITIL and CMMi frameworks. Proven past experience in the development or support of web-based and WinForms .NET applications created in C# and VB.NET is essential. Excellent communication, customer handling, and documentation skills are required.
