Job Purpose

The Head of Operations oversees the development and smooth running of our DMC business. The role requires expertise in DMC SOPs, strong team leadership and training skills, and experience in travel trade business development. The role predominantly supports the growth of our DMC business, with the aim of becoming the market leader.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and lead a strong operations team, initially focused on product development and customer service
  • Ability to reach and exceed KPIs (as a team and individually)
  • Lead by example, and train your team to duplicate your success
  • CRM Management and target setting
  • Oversee product development, vendor procurement and contracting
  • Oversee our DMC tech systems
  • Help to manager DMC branding and PR
  • Support the Sales Team whenever needed
  • Support wider company efforts whenever needed
  • Attend trade conferences and expos when required
  • Build strong relationships with all partners and company departments
  • Manage third party assets, such as exterior marketing and PR service providers

Core Requirements

  • >5 years professional experience within a DMC or Travel Company
  • Leadership experience
  • Project management experience
  • CRM experience
  • A strong professional network
  • Fluent in English. Additional languages an advantage
  • Be a flexible team player with a start-up/fast growth mentality
