JOB SUMMARY
The Forklift Operator plays a vital role in supporting efficient warehouse operations by organizing stock according to the 5S methodology: Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardize, and Sustain. This position requires a strong sense of responsibility, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team to ensure a clean, organized, and productive work environment. The Forklift Operator must have valid driver license, safety practitioner, and certified NCII from accredited TESDA School.
KEY RESPONSIBILITY
- Material Handling: Moving pallet-packed materials, stacking crates, and transporting raw materials or finished products.
- Inspections: Conducting daily pre-shift vehicle checks (brakes, tires, fluids, and hydraulic hoses) to ensure safe operation.
- Safety Protocols: Adhering strictly to capacity limits, driving at safe speeds, and maintaining situational awareness to protect pedestrians.
- Assist in loading and unloading delivery vehicles.
- Provide support to other warehouse staff and departments as needed.
- Help with cycle counting, returns, and restocking tasks.
- Participate in training sessions and team meetings to stay updated on procedures and expectations.
QUALIFICATION AND REQUIREMENTS
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Vocational training NC11 - TESDA certification for FORKLIFT.
Experience
- Minimum of 1 year experience as FORKLIFT Operator - Reach Truck/Forklift - Counterweight.
- Minimum of 1 year experience in Warehouse Operations.
SKILL AND COMPETENCIES
Technical Skills
- Can safely operate Reach Truck/Lifter.
- Familiar with basic warehousing operation - incoming and outgoing operations.
- Uses handheld scanners to update and track inventory accurately.
- Packs, labels, and organizes items properly to ensure correct product handling.
- Follows safety protocols and uses personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
Soft Skills
- Works collaboratively with team members to support smooth warehouse operations.
- Communicates clearly when reporting issues or receiving instructions.
- Stay focus when operate the machine.
- Manages time effectively to meet daily targets and deadlines.
- Adapts quickly to changes in workload, priorities, or procedures.
- Reliable and completes assigned tasks consistently with minimal supervision.
- Identifies and resolves minor issues independently during operations.
Physical Requirements
- Capable of lifting, carrying, and moving items up to 25 kilograms.
- Frequent bending, reaching, crouching, and stretching.
- Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
- Comfortable working in a physically active and fast-paced environment.
- Teamwork and ability to create positive atmosphere that will complete the task.
