JOB SUMMARY

The HR Supervisor bridges the HR Manager and the frontline HR team, overseeing the performance, quality, and development of HR Specialists across Recruitment, Compensation & Benefits, Employee Relations, and Employee Engagement. The role is the first point of escalation for ER, compliance, and service issues, and owns QA, coaching, process improvement, and HR policy/SOP development and rollout.


KEY RESPONSIBILITY

  • Team Performance Oversight – Monitor team KPI performance and coach Specialists before issues affect departmental scorecards.
  • Escalation & Risk Management – Serve as first-level escalation point for ER, compliance, and service issues, resolving within TAT.
  • Quality Assurance & Compliance – Run QA audits across onboarding, recruitment, C&B, and ER transactions, and drive corrective action.
  • People Development & Coaching – Conduct regular coaching and 1:1s, and close skill and knowledge gaps within the team.
  • Stakeholder Coordination – Manage interdepartmental requests and monitor RICA/ticketing SLAs for the team.
  • Workforce Stability – Track team attrition and retention risks, and support exit interviews.
  • Governance & Reporting – Consolidate and submit accurate team KPI reports on or before deadline.
  • Process Improvement & Automation – Identify and lead at least one process improvement or automation initiative per quarter.
  • Policy & SOP Development – Draft, review, and maintain HR policies and SOPs within target timelines.
  • Policy & SOP Implementation – Roll out new policies/SOPs to the team and verify compliance through QA spot-checks.

QUALIFICATION AND REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of HR experience, with prior team supervisory or mentoring experience preferred.
  • Solid knowledge of Philippine labor law and DOLE regulations (twin-notice rule, progressive discipline, due process).
  • Exposure across multiple HR disciplines (ER, Recruitment, C&B, Engagement) is an advantage.

SKILL AND COMPETENCIES

  • People leadership, coaching, and conflict resolution.
  • Strong attention to detail and a QA mindset, with policy/SOP drafting skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, and HRIS/ATS/ticketing systems (e.g., Sprout)
  • High integrity, organization, and cross-departmental stakeholder management.
