JOB SUMMARY

The HR Employee Relations Specialist is responsible for fostering a positive and productive work environment by managing employee relations, disciplinary actions, and engagement initiatives. This role ensures compliance with labor laws, company policies, and best HR practices while promoting a culture of transparency, accountability, and employee satisfaction.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Employee Relations

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for employee relations concerns, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
  • Investigate employee grievances, complaints, and policy violations, maintaining confidentiality and fairness.
  • Administer disciplinary procedures, including corrective actions, performance improvement plans, and terminations, in alignment with company policies and legal requirements.
  • Provide coaching and guidance to managers on employee relations issues, ensuring consistent and lawful application of company policies.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of employee relations cases, disciplinary actions, and investigations.
  • Preparation of Corporate Memoranda.

Policy Compliance & Labor Law Adherence

  • Ensure compliance with labor laws, workplace regulations, and company policies.
  • Update and communicate HR policies and guidelines to employees.
  • Conduct training sessions for employees and managers on workplace policies, diversity, and inclusion.
  • Stay updated on labor law changes and recommend policy modifications as needed.

QUALIFICATION & REQUIREMENTS

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field.

Experience:

  • At least 2 years of experience in HR, specifically in employee relations or labor related field
  • Knowledge of labor laws, disciplinary processes, and employee engagement strategies.
  • Experience in HR software and systems is an advantage.

  • Strong understanding of labor laws and employee relations best practices.
  • Experience managing employee investigations and disciplinary procedures.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
