JOB SUMMARY
The Warehouse Manager is responsible for the end-to-end management of warehouse operations at the Fortune Warehouse in Marikina, ensuring accurate inventory handling, disciplined execution of SOPs, and full GMP compliance.
This role requires strong, hands-on experience with ERP or warehouse management systems and will play a key role in the setup, configuration, testing, and rollout of a new ERP system for warehouse operations. The Warehouse Manager will act as the process owner for warehouse-related ERP modules, ensuring that system design reflects real operational needs.
This position is strictly warehouse-focused and does not include logistics, transportation, or distribution responsibilities.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Site Warehouse Operations (Fortune – Marikina)
- Own all internal warehouse activities including receiving, put-away, storage, picking, packing, and internal staging.
- Ensure proper handling and storage of raw materials, packaging materials, and finished goods.
- Maintain optimal warehouse layout and space utilization.
- Enforce FIFO / FEFO principles and batch traceability.
- Maintain high standards of housekeeping and visual controls.
Inventory Accuracy & Control
- Ensure inventory accuracy through disciplined receiving, issuance, and reconciliation.
- Lead cycle counts, spot checks, and physical inventory counts.
- Investigate variances and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Ensure accurate SKU, batch, and location mapping in the ERP.
ERP / WMS Ownership (Warehouse Scope)
- Act as warehouse process owner for ERP or WMS implementation.
- Participate in ERP selection, requirements definition, and process mapping for warehouse modules.
- Lead user acceptance testing (UAT) for warehouse-related workflows.
- Ensure accurate master data setup (SKUs, locations, BOM links, batch rules).
- Train warehouse users on ERP processes and enforce correct system usage.
- Work closely with IT, SCM leadership, and external vendors during ERP rollout.
- Identify gaps between system design and real operations and recommend solutions.
People & Shift Management
- Lead and supervise warehouse personnel assigned to the Fortune site.
- Manage manpower, shifts, productivity, and attendance.
- Train staff on SOPs, GMP requirements, safety standards, and ERP usage.
- Enforce discipline and accountability.
SOP Enforcement & Continuous Improvement
- Implement and enforce all approved warehouse SOPs.
- Identify process gaps and inefficiencies.
- Participate in root-cause analysis (RCA) for warehouse-related issues.
- Recommend continuous improvement initiatives supported by ERP data.
GMP, Safety & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with GMP, FDA, and internal quality standards.
- Maintain proper storage conditions and segregation.
- Enforce safety and housekeeping standards.
- Ensure audit readiness at all times.
Cross-Site & Cross-Functional Coordination (Non-Logistics)
- Coordinate with Production, Fulfillment, Procurement, and SCM leadership.
- Align ERP-driven warehouse processes with other sites.
- Escalate capacity, manpower, or system-related risks early.
Reporting & Monitoring
- Produce accurate, ERP-based warehouse reports covering:
- Inventory accuracy
- Cycle count results
- Space utilization
- Manpower productivity
- Maintain audit-ready documentation and system records.
QUALIFICATION & REQUIREMENTS
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Information Systems, Business, or related field preferred.
- Equivalent operational ERP implementation experience will be considered.
Experience:
- Minimum 5 years of warehouse operations experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
- Hands-on experience using and implementing ERP or WMS systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle NetSuite, Odoo, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar).
- Experience participating in ERP setup, migration, or rollout is required.
- Experience in FMCG, cosmetics, pharmaceutical, or regulated environments is a strong advantage.
- Experience in multi-warehouse operations is a plus.
