JOB SUMMARY
The Graphic Artist is responsible for creating visually compelling graphics and layouts for digital platforms, ensuring alignment with brand identity and marketing goals. This role involves designing assets for social media, e-commerce content, and promotional campaigns, while maintaining brand consistency across all platforms. The Graphic Artist collaborates with marketing and multimedia teams to produce high-quality visuals and supports the creative strategy by contributing ideas to enhance brand presence and engagement. Additionally, they assist in tracking the performance of graphic content and suggesting improvements based on performance data.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Graphic Design & Layout Creation
- Design and create visually compelling graphics and layouts for social media platforms, ensuring alignment with brand identity and target audience preferences.
- Develop engaging visuals for e-commerce content, including product images, banners, and promotional assets that drive sales and conversions.
Marketing Asset Creation
- Collaborate with marketing and multimedia teams to produce high-quality digital assets for various campaigns, advertisements, and social media posts.
- Ensure all marketing assets are consistent with brand guidelines and maintain a cohesive visual style across all digital platforms.
Social Media Content Support
- Create engaging visual content tailored to different social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, etc.) to enhance brand presence and drive user engagement.
- Assist in designing graphics for seasonal or promotional campaigns, stories, and advertisements that increase audience interaction and brand recognition.
E-Commerce Content Assistance
- Help design and update visual assets for e-commerce websites, including product images, banners, and landing pages.
- Ensure that visuals enhance the user experience and are optimized for both desktop and mobile platforms.
Collaboration with Multimedia Artists
- Assist multimedia artists and marketing teams in creating a variety of visual assets, including video thumbnails, motion graphics, and any other multimedia content.
- Support in maintaining a high standard of design for all marketing-related materials, ensuring visual consistency across digital and print channels.
Brand Consistency
- Ensure all creative materials adhere to the brands visual identity and messaging guidelines.
- Work with the marketing team to ensure consistency in graphic style, color palette, typography, and overall aesthetic.
Creative Strategy Support
- Participate in brainstorming sessions for new campaign ideas and contribute creative design concepts to achieve marketing goals.
- Collaborate on content strategies to ensure designs meet the overall marketing objectives and business goals.
QUALIFICATION & REQUIREMENTS
Education
- Bachelors degree in Advertising Arts, Multimedia Arts or any related field.
Experience
- Entry-level to at least 1 year of experience in graphic design or any related field.
SKILLS & COMPETENCIES
Technical Skills:
- Expertise in graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite: Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
- Strong understanding of layout design principles for digital platforms, ensuring optimized visuals for social media, e-commerce, and marketing campaigns.
- Experience in creating high-quality marketing assets, including product images, banners, advertisements, and promotional materials.
- Knowledge of design standards for various social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter) and e-commerce websites.
- Proficiency in designing assets optimized for desktop and mobile platforms.
- Ability to assist with multimedia content creation, including video thumbnails and motion graphics.
Soft Skills:
- Creative thinking with the ability to conceptualize and execute unique visual design ideas.
- Strong attention to detail, ensuring design consistency across all digital and print channels.
- Excellent collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with marketing, multimedia teams, and other departments.
- Strong communication skills, particularly in presenting and discussing design concepts and ideas.
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment, meeting deadlines.
