JOB SUMMARY

The Supply Chain Senior Operations Manager at Dermorepubliq is responsible for overseeing the end-to-end execution of supply chain operations, including procurement, warehouse management, inventory control, and internal logistics.

This role ensures that supply chain activities are executed efficiently, cost-effectively, and in alignment with company operational targets. The position acts as the key operational leader bridging strategic direction from the Supply Chain Director and daily execution led by warehouse and logistics managers.

The role focuses on optimizing supply chain processes, ensuring operational continuity, maintaining inventory accuracy, and strengthening coordination across procurement, production, fulfillment, and finance functions.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Supply Chain Operations Leadership

  • Oversee day-to-day supply chain operations including procurement coordination, warehouse management, inventory control, and logistics flow.
  • Ensure operational alignment between procurement, warehousing, production, and fulfillment teams.
  • Translate strategic supply chain initiatives into operational execution plans.
  • Drive operational efficiency across supply chain processes while maintaining service levels and cost targets.

Procurement & Supplier Coordination

  • Oversee procurement planning and ensure timely sourcing of raw materials, packaging, and operational supplies.
  • Monitor supplier performance in terms of delivery reliability, cost efficiency, and quality standards.
  • Support the development and enforcement of procurement policies and supplier management frameworks.
  • Coordinate closely with Finance on budget planning, cost monitoring, and procurement forecasts.

Warehouse and Inventory Management

  • Oversee warehouse operations including receiving, storage, picking, and dispatch processes.
  • Ensure effective warehouse layout, space utilization, and material flow efficiency.
  • Implement inventory management strategies such as safety stock planning and reorder points.
  • Ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and warehouse safety standards.
  • Lead inventory accuracy initiatives including cycle counting, reconciliation, and audit readiness.

Internal Logistics & Material Flow

  • Manage internal logistics coordination to ensure timely delivery of materials to production and fulfillment teams.
  • Optimize inbound logistics from suppliers and internal material transfers between facilities.
  • Oversee coordination with third-party logistics providers when necessary for bulk movement, returns, or escalations.
  • Improve logistics scheduling, transportation utilization, and turnaround times.

Process Optimization & Continuous Improvement

  • Identify opportunities to improve supply chain efficiency, cost control, and operational reliability.
  • Lead initiatives to improve inventory turnover, warehouse productivity, and logistics lead times.
  • Support ERP system optimization and supply chain module improvements.
  • Implement data-driven decision making through operational dashboards and reporting.

Performance Management & Team Leadership

  • Manage and mentor warehouse managers, supervisors, and supply chain staff.
  • Establish clear performance KPIs across supply chain functions including procurement, inventory, and logistics.
  • Promote accountability, operational discipline, and a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Ensure workforce planning and capability development within supply chain operations.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with Production, Quality Assurance, Fulfillment, Finance, and Product Development teams to align supply planning with operational needs.
  • Participate in company-wide initiatives that impact supply chain performance and operational scalability.
  • Support risk mitigation strategies related to supply shortages, logistics disruptions, and inventory challenges.

QUALIFICATION & REQUIREMENTS

Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Professional certifications such as CPIM, CSCP, or PMP are an advantage.

Experience:

  • Minimum 8–10 years of experience in supply chain operations, preferably in manufacturing or FMCG.
  • At least 4–5 years in a leadership or managerial role overseeing multiple supply chain functions.
  • Proven experience in procurement coordination, warehouse management, and inventory optimization.
  • Experience implementing or working with ERP systems or warehouse management systems (WMS).

SKILLS & COMPETENCIES

Technical Skills:

  • Strong understanding of supply chain planning, inventory management, and logistics workflows.
  • Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, NetSuite, or similar platforms.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and operational data analysis.
  • Familiarity with warehouse operations and GMP storage standards.

  • May require occasional travel for supplier visits, facility coordination, or operational audits.
