JOB SUMMARY

The Learning Content Developer is responsible for developing clear, engaging, and learner-ready content based on approved instructional designs. The role focuses on converting learning objectives, storyboards, and scripts into high-quality training materials that support effective learning delivery across multiple formats.

The Content Developer works closely with Instructional Designers, SMEs, and Trainers to ensure learning content is accurate, consistent, and aligned with organizational standards.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Learning Content Development

  • Develop learner-ready content that accurately reflects approved instructional designs and enables achievement of learning objectives.
  • Produce materials that are clear, engaging, and suitable for effective training delivery.

Content Review & Quality Assurance

  • Ensure learning materials meet quality, branding, and instructional alignment standards.
  • Maintain content accuracy and readiness through structured reviews and updates.

Collaboration & Support

  • Collaborate with Instructional Designers and SMEs to ensure content clarity, accuracy, and usability.
  • Support Trainers by delivering complete and facilitation-ready materials.

Continuous Improvement

  • Improve learning content effectiveness by incorporating feedback, evaluation results, and operational changes.
  • The candidate may be required to perform other related duties as assigned, consistent with the role and organizational needs.

QUALIFICATION AND REQUIREMENTS

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education, Communications, Multimedia Arts, Instructional Design and technologies, or a related field.
  • Certification in Multimedia Arts, Visual Design, or Learning & Development preferred.

Experience:

  • At least 1–3 years of experience in content development, training, or related roles.
  • Experience developing learning materials for corporate or professional environments.
  • Basic familiarity with e-learning tools, presentation software, and document authoring tools.

SKILLS & COMPETENCIES

Technical Skills:

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft 365, particularly in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Advanced proficiency in Articulate 360, particularly in Rise 360 and Storyline 360
  • Advanced proficiency in visual design apps, such as but not limited to Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Affinity Studio, and Canva.
  • Intermediate proficiency in multimedia apps, such as but not limited to Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe Audition, Adobe After Effects, Vyond, DaVinci Resolve, and ElevenLabs.
  • Familiarity with design principles and standards, such as but not limited to Mayer’s Principles of Multimedia Learning, WCAG 2.2, and ADDIE
  • Familiarity with other content authoring and presentation tools and learning technologies
  • Familiarity with LMS administration
