JOB SUMMARY
Position Purpose Summary:
DEPLOY's Client is building an enterprise business platform and building scalable, cloud-native applications to transform operations. We are seeking a Senior Full Stack Software Developer to own features end-to-end from PostgreSQL schema design and Django/Python services to modern frontends on Azure. You'll thrive in a fast-paced, high-impact environment, solving complex business challenges with clean, elegant software while fostering a developer culture that embraces AI tools to improve speed, quality, and reliability.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES / TASKS
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using Python, Django, PostgreSQL, and Azure.
- Build APIs and integrations across enterprise and third-party systems.
- Implement modern, responsive user interfaces with react frameworks.
- Write clean, well-tested code, leveraging AI-enabled developer tools (e.g., Copilot, Cursor, Claude) to accelerate development and documentation.
- Debug, optimize, and secure applications, using AI-based monitoring and anomaly detection where appropriate.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable solutions.
- Contribute to technical design, architecture, and process improvements; establish coding standards and CI/CD best practices.
- Mentor and support junior developers while promoting a strong culture and developing talent

Span of Control:
(incl # of direct reports)
Indirectly provide thought leadership and code reviews for vendor devs. Potential opportunity to help vet and build internal dev teams.
Decision Making / Autonomy:
Ownership in designing and implementing technical features. Expected to influence architecture, tooling, and development practices across the team.
Financial Authority:
May participate in vendor/tool selection and cost-performance tradeoffs, but does not own a budget directly.
Work / Problem Complexity:
Will tackle complex full-stack challenges across ERP, e-commerce, and operational systems. Requires balancing speed of delivery with scalability, security, and maintainability.
Influencing / People Leadership:
Expected to lead through technical expertise and collaboration. Will mentor peers, shape coding standards, and drive alignment across product and engineering stakeholders.
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE
Certifications:
- None required; cloud or security certifications (e.g., Microsoft Azure Developer Associate) a plus.
Educational Requirements:
- Preferred: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field. (Not Required - Equivalent experience considered.)
Years of Experience:
- 8-10+ years of professional software development experience.
- 4+ years in a senior or lead developer capacity preferred.
Knowledge / Skills / Abilities:
- Expertise in Postgre, Python, React, & Django
- Strong front-end skills with react and modern frameworks (React).
- Experience with Azure cloud services (App Service, Functions, Storage, CI/CD pipelines).
- Hands-on experience with AI-enabled developer tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude) to accelerate coding, testing, and documentation.
- Proficiency in Git, automated testing, and CI/CD workflows.
- Ability to clearly communicate technical tradeoffs and solutions.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a bias for execution.
