Cognos (administrative / upgrade) Role: Application Migration:

Work with Internal resources to create backups and (potential) restores of Cognos 10.2.2 application databases and directories.

Work with Licensee resources to provision servers, databases, service accounts, and application access for new infrastructure.

Installation and configuration of Cognos 11.2.x with the following architecture guidelines

Security Migration:

Involves the validation of compatibility of the Customer Java Security Provider used in the Licensee's Cognos 10.2.2 application with the new Cognos Analytics 11.2.x application.

Migration of technologies and application settings for all the estimate user base of the Cognos 10.2.2 application (X users/1 authors/1 admin accounts) into the proper configuration within the new Cognos Analytics 11.2.x application.

Configure application (database logins) for the installation and configuration of the database drivers.

Content Migration:

Develop test cases and validate reports between the two systems,

Validate migrated reports execute in both systems and test plans are followed
