Job Description:
We're looking for a Sr. Application Support Specialist to provide technical support and troubleshoot software issues for both internal and external users. Youll collaborate with the development, IT, and other departments to ensure seamless operations and user satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support for software systems and ensure timely issue resolution.
- Investigate and diagnose system issues, providing solutions or escalating as needed.
- Work closely with development and IT teams to implement system updates.
- Monitor system performance and prevent potential issues by reviewing logs and metrics.
- Document system issues, troubleshooting steps, and resolution processes.
- Assist in system testing, updates, and user training.
- Coordinate with users to understand their needs and provide guidance or training.
- Collaborate with various teams to enhance system efficiency and user experience.
- Support continuous process improvements for related systems and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3-5 years of experience in Application Support, IT Support, or related fields.
- Strong understanding of web, cloud, and enterprise software.
- Experience with databases and basic scripting skills.
- Knowledge of ITIL or similar frameworks is a plus.
- Familiar with ticketing systems for managing support requests.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills to explain technical issues to non-technical users.
Preferred Skills:
- ITIL, Microsoft, or platform certifications.
- Experience with automation tools.
- Knowledge of networking and cloud environments.
