About the Role

This is a multi-disciplinary consulting role that combines solution delivery, automation, business analysis, and modern application development. The Automation & Digital Solutions Consultant works across both business and technical domains to help design, build, and improve digital solutions for clients. You will work closely with stakeholders to understand business challenges, identify opportunities for process improvement and automation, and deliver practical solutions using technologies such as Power Platform, Front End frameworks, and integration services.

You will be comfortable managing moving pieces across multiple engagements and contributing across the full solution lifecycle, from discovery and requirements gathering through to delivery and ongoing support. Priorities may shift as client needs evolve, and clear direction will not always be available upfront, so the ability to navigate ambiguity, ask the right questions, make sound assumptions, and proactively seek guidance is important.

You are equally comfortable facilitating a requirements workshop, mapping a business process, building a Power App, or contributing to a React-based frontend. You bring a strong balance of technical capability, problem-solving, and communication skills, and enjoy working in environments where no two projects are the same.

Responsibility and Accountability

• Support the end-to-end delivery of automation and digital solution initiatives across multiple client engagements
• Gather, analyse, and document business requirements, workflows, and functional specifications
• Identify opportunities for process optimisation, automation, and system improvement
• Design, develop, and maintain solutions using Power Platform technologies including Power Apps, Power Automate, and Dataverse
• Contribute to frontend application development using React, JavaScript, and API integrations
• Support integration activities across platforms, systems, and third-party services
• Participate in workshops, stakeholder meetings, solution demonstrations, testing, and delivery activities
• Troubleshoot solution issues and contribute to ongoing enhancements and continuous improvement initiatives
• Produce clear documentation including process maps, user stories, technical specifications, and support materials
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including consultants, developers, designers, and client stakeholders
• Contribute to internal capability uplift through reusable assets, knowledge sharing, and best practices

Intelligent Automation Skills Requirements

• Experience developing solutions using Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps and Power Automate
• Ability to evaluate and redesign processes before automation, ensuring solutions improve operational effectiveness rather than simply digitising existing inefficiencies
• Understanding of automation concepts, workflow design, and process optimisation principles
• Ability to interpret business requirements and translate them into practical technical solutions
• Experience with business analysis activities including requirements gathering, process mapping, and documentation
• Exposure to API integrations, REST services, and working with external data sources
• Familiarity with Dataverse, SQL, and relational data structures
• Understanding of solution testing, debugging, and deployment practices
• Exposure to both low-code and custom development delivery environments
• Experience working across both technical and functional streams within project delivery
• Understanding of React and modern JavaScript development practices, including the ability to support, troubleshoot, and contribute to existing applications and frontend enhancements
• Desirable exposure to Python, .NET, Azure services, or integration platforms
