Client Partner
Job Description:
The Client Partner is responsible for building trusted executive relationships and driving strategic growth across their client portfolio. The role focuses on identifying opportunities where Decision Inc.s data, analytics and digital transformation capabilities can help clients solve complex business challenges and achieve measurable business outcomes.
Success in this role comes from focusing on the right clients, building strong relationships with senior decision-makers and expanding Decision Inc.s presence within client organisations through multi-solution partnerships. Client Partners lead conversations around business challenges, framing opportunities in terms of outcomes, risk and value rather than technology alone.
The Client Partner works closely with consulting, delivery and technology teams to ensure Decision Inc. consistently delivers value throughout the clients transformation journey.

What Will You Do?
Specific activities involved in performing this role will include (but not be limited to):
Strategic Client Partnership
- Build trusted relationships with senior client stakeholders including CIOs, CFOs, COOs and other executive decision-makers.
- Partner with clients throughout their digital transformation journey to understand their strategic priorities, challenges and opportunities.
- Position Decision Inc. as a trusted advisor by framing client challenges in terms of business impact, risk and opportunity.
Strategic Account Growth
- Develop and manage a focused portfolio of high-value client accounts.
- Prioritise strategic accounts where Decision Inc. can deliver the greatest commercial impact and long-term partnership value.
- Identify opportunities to expand Decision Inc.s capabilities across new functions, business units and executive stakeholders within existing clients.
- Convert strong delivery relationships into additional opportunities by opening new conversations across the client organisation.
Commercial Engagement and Deal Ownership
- Lead the commercial engagement with clients from initial discussions through to proposal, negotiation and contract.
- Shape the buying journey by helping clients clearly define the business problem, success criteria and decision logic.
- Align stakeholders across finance, technology and operations to support effective decision-making.
- Prepare and coordinate proposals, commercial agreements and vendor registrations where required.
Outcome-Led Client Engagement
- Anchor client conversations and proposals around measurable business outcomes such as financial performance, operational efficiency and risk reduction.
- Translate Decision Inc.s technology capabilities into clear business value for clients.
- Help clients understand the impact of transformation initiatives, including the risks and costs of inaction.
Collaboration and Delivery Alignment
- Work closely with Engagement Managers, solution leads and consulting teams to shape integrated client solutions.
- Leverage delivery expertise and existing client success to strengthen commercial conversations.
- Ensure a smooth transition from sales to delivery once engagements are confirmed.
- Present Decision Inc. to clients as one integrated team across sales, consulting and technology partnerships.
Pipeline and Opportunity Management
- Maintain clear visibility of client opportunities and pipeline within CRM.
- Focus effort on high-value strategic engagements rather than low-intent or tactical opportunities.
- Leverage available tools and technology to prepare for client conversations and strengthen decision-making.
Group Sales Collaboration
- Ensure clients experience Decision Inc as a single, integrated partner capable of delivering complex transformation outcomes across data, AI, enterprise performance management, and digital platforms.
- Operate as part of Decision Incs broader global sales ecosystem, collaborating closely with Group Sales leadership, regional Client Partners, and specialist solution teams.
- Work jointly across regions and practices to unlock larger, multi-market opportunities and deliver consistent client engagement across the organisation.
- Share account intelligence and client insights to strengthen collective pursuit strategies.
- Coordinate strategic pursuits where multiple service lines or geographies can increase the overall client value proposition.
- Contribute actively to group pipeline discussions and strategic deal reviews.
- Support cross-regional opportunities and pursuits where appropriate.
- Engage subject-matter experts and solution specialists from across the organisation to strengthen client proposals and executive conversations.
Who Do You Need to Be?
- Relevant Degree e.g. B.Com Business Management, Information Systems or related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years experience in a commercial or client-facing role within a consulting or technology services environment.
- Experience managing enterprise client relationships and driving revenue growth.
- Strong understanding of digital transformation, data and analytics, enterprise technology or related consulting services.
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business value for senior stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving skills and excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to build trusted relationships with clients and internal teams.
- Effective planning, prioritisation and organisational skills.
- Strong commercial acumen and understanding of how technology can drive measurable business outcomes.
