Location: Cape Town

Duration of contract: 6-months


Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Engagement:
    • Respond to client needs with the right service and solutions.
    • Build trust through expertise, showing care and humility in all interactions.
    • Educate clients on subscribing and servicing their accounts.
    • Help clients achieve financial goals and grow their investments.
  • Client Relationship Building:
    • Own client requests end-to-end and route for alternative intervention if needed.
    • Cross-sell to entrench clients and deliver value.
    • Facilitate sales by highlighting product features and benefits.
    • Document client needs and provide tailored product solutions.
    • Obtain referrals and leads to expand our client base.
  • Client Communication:
    • Keep clients informed about their applications, queries, and requests.
    • Educate clients on secure, cost-effective self-service channels.
    • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to provide comprehensive financial solutions.
    • Ensure clients feel welcome, listened to, and have their financial problems resolved.
  • Contribute to the team's success through excellent service, teamwork, and personal development.
  • Grow the business by achieving individual and team goals, supporting a positive client experience.
  • Increase market share by engaging clients in Core+ needs discussions, salary, and debit order switching, and promoting digital platforms.
  • Resolve work obstacles through team collaboration, sharing information, and performance review.
  • Support the sales and service strategy by converting leads into sustainable business.
  • Mitigate risks and meet legislative requirements by staying accredited and updating client information.
  • Report suspicious transactions as necessary.
  • Stay informed on legislation and industry changes.
  • Manage risks by adhering to technical, company standards, and banking legislation.


Requirements:

  • Essential:
    • Matric / Grade 12 / National Senior Certificate
    • Advanced Diplomas/National 1st Degrees
  • Preferred:
    • Higher Certificate in Banking Services (NQF5)
  • 2-3 years as a Client Services Consultant in Asset Management.
  • Experience with Investments, Pension Funds, Retirement Funds.
  • Strong understanding of Collective Investment Schemes and Retirement products.
