Job Opportunity: Data Analyst (Microsoft SQL Server, SSIS, Power BI)

We are looking for an experienced Data Analyst with strong expertise in Microsoft SQL Server, SSIS, and Power BI to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analysis, the ability to create complex queries and reports, and experience with ETL processes and data visualization tools.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Data Analysis & Reporting:

    • Utilize Microsoft SQL Server to analyze and manipulate data, generating reports that provide actionable insights to business stakeholders.
    • Write complex SQL queries to extract, clean, and transform data from various sources.
    • Conduct in-depth analysis to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement in business processes.
  2. ETL Processes (SSIS):

    • Design, develop, and maintain SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services) packages to extract, transform, and load (ETL) data into the data warehouse.
    • Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency through efficient ETL processes.
    • Troubleshoot and optimize ETL workflows for performance and scalability.
  3. Data Visualization (Power BI):

    • Build and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports to visualize key business metrics and performance indicators.
    • Develop interactive and user-friendly reports that enable stakeholders to make data-driven decisions.
    • Continuously improve existing reports and dashboards based on stakeholder feedback and evolving business needs.
  4. Collaboration with Stakeholders:

    • Work closely with business users, data architects, and technical teams to understand data requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
    • Communicate findings, insights, and recommendations effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  5. Data Quality Management:

    • Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of data used for analysis and reporting.
    • Conduct regular data validation checks to identify and resolve discrepancies or errors in datasets.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Microsoft SQL Server: Strong proficiency in SQL Server for querying, data manipulation, and reporting.
  • SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services): Experience with ETL development using SSIS for data extraction, transformation, and loading.
  • Power BI: Expertise in Power BI for creating dynamic dashboards, reports, and data visualizations.
  • Data Analysis: Experience analyzing large datasets and deriving actionable insights.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot data-related issues and optimize database queries and ETL workflows.
  • Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively present data findings and insights to stakeholders.
