Hybrid role is based in Sandton, offering the perfect blend of onsite collaboration (3 days a week) and flexible remote work.

Role Overview:

As an AI Specialist within the BA CoE, you will be at the forefront of integrating cutting-edge AI solutions to supercharge the capabilities and efficiency of our business analysts. Your mission? To harness AI technologies to automate routine tasks, deliver data-driven insights, and enhance decision-making processes. By implementing impactful AI initiatives, you'll ensure our business analysts are armed with advanced tools, allowing them to focus on strategic and analytical tasks. Your expertise will help drive continuous improvement and uphold best practices across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

AI Integration: Identify and deploy AI solutions that boost business analyst efficiency and effectiveness.

Automation: Develop AI-driven automation to free up analysts for more strategic tasks.

Data Analytics & Insights: Use AI to extract actionable insights from data, supporting informed decision-making.

Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams to uncover and prioritize AI opportunities for performance improvements.

Best Practices: Promote AI best practices to ensure consistency and high standards across the business analysis community.

Training & Development: Equip business analysts with the knowledge and resources to leverage AI tools and methodologies effectively.

Continuous Improvement: Evaluate the impact of AI initiatives on performance and iterate to drive ongoing enhancements.

Innovation: Stay updated with the latest AI trends and technologies to keep the bank at the cutting edge of business analysis innovation.

Essential Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field.

️ Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, C++, or R, with experience in AI and machine learning frameworks.

3+ years of solid AI experience, with a proven track record in AI, machine learning, and data science.

Familiarity with Confluence, Jira for Cloud, ARIS, machine learning algorithms, and NLP techniques.

️ Knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS, Google Cloud, and Azure for deploying AI models.

Preferred Skills:

Advanced understanding of data structures, data modeling, and software architecture.

Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and develop innovative AI solutions.

Excellent communication skills for translating technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
