Job Title: Service Dispatcher
Position Summary:
The Service Dispatcher will be key in managing and maintaining customer and technician schedules, ensuring efficient communication between the team and customers, and supporting billing and payroll processes. This position requires strong organizational skills, excellent communication, and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain daily schedules for technicians, ensuring timely dispatch of service calls and projects.
- Maintain continuous daily communication with technicians to address scheduling changes, updates, or job-related questions.
- Ensure technicians clock in and out of the correct jobs and address discrepancies.
- Run time reporting to assist with payroll accuracy and processing.
- Invoice customers promptly upon service completion, ensuring billing accuracy and timely delivery.
- Communicate with management and the warehouse team regarding materials needed for upcoming service calls and projects.
- Maintain accurate records of all jobs, technician activities, and material requirements.
- Proactively address scheduling conflicts and prioritize urgent service calls.
- Provide updates to management regarding scheduling, technician performance, and any potential issues.
Required Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Service Dispatcher or in a related administrative or scheduling role (preferably in the electrical or construction industry).
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word) and scheduling software.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate across teams.
- Ability to analyze time reports and address discrepancies effectively.
- High attention to detail and accuracy in scheduling, billing, and reporting processes.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with payroll systems and reporting.
- Familiarity with electrical services, projects, or dispatching processes.
- Ability to adapt quickly in a dynamic environment.
Working Conditions:
This full-time position is onsite, primarily in an office environment, with occasional need for phone-based troubleshooting or onsite communication.
Salary: $60,000 - $70,000 per year (Based on experience)
