Our client seeks an experienced and detail-oriented Residential Electrical Field Supervisor to oversee and manage residential construction projects. The Supervisor will ensure that all work performed by in-house employees and subcontractors is completed to code, on schedule, and with the highest quality standards. This role requires a strong understanding of residential construction and electrical systems and the ability to coordinate efficiently with project managers, builders, and division managers to maintain project timelines and quality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Enforce and adhere to company methods, procedures, and safety protocols across all job sites.
  • Ensure all work performed by subcontractors and in-house employees complies with local, state, and national building codes.
  • Create punch lists and inspection reports, distribute them to crews, and ensure all tasks are completed to specification.
  • Attend mandatory company and project meetings as required, providing updates and feedback on project progress.
  • Collaborate with the division manager to ensure all projects are completed on schedule and that homes are prepared for closing.
  • Assist the division manager in scheduling service crews to complete punch lists and service requests.
  • To foster smooth project execution, build and maintain strong working relationships with builders, project managers, and other stakeholders.
  • Ensure proper permits are obtained for each job and monitor that all necessary inspections are completed to avoid construction delays.
  • Communicate and resolve on-site issues promptly to prevent project setbacks and ensure quality workmanship.

Qualifications:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent and a degree in construction management or a related field is a plus.
  • 5+ years of experience in residential construction, field supervision, or a related role.
  • Strong knowledge of residential construction processes, electrical systems, and applicable building codes.
  • Experience managing subcontractors and in-house crews.
  • Exceptional organizational and leadership skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with team members, contractors, builders, and management.
  • Proficiency in using project management software, construction tools, and scheduling software.
  • Valid drivers license with a clean driving record.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in managing electrical installations in residential settings.
  • Certification in project management or construction safety.
  • Knowledge of local building regulations and inspection requirements.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to work in various environmental conditions (indoor, outdoor, heights, and confined spaces).
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks related to construction supervision.

Work Environment:

This position requires regular travel to residential job sites. The supervisor will work indoors and outdoors, including construction sites and client homes. Personal protective equipment (PPE) will be required on job sites.
