About the job Site Superintendent - Charlotte
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Site Superintendent with a strong background in electrical construction to oversee field operations for new commercial and multi-family residential construction projects. The Site Superintendent is responsible for managing on-site activities, coordinating subcontractors, ensuring project milestones are met, and maintaining a safe, efficient, and quality-controlled work environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and manage all on-site electrical work and field personnel to ensure project completion on time, within budget, and to specification.

Coordinate with general contractors, project managers, subcontractors, inspectors, and suppliers.

Schedule and conduct daily site meetings, monitor work progress, and adjust plans as needed to stay on track.

Ensure compliance with OSHA, local, state, and federal safety regulations and company policies.

Read and interpret electrical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.

Maintain accurate daily reports, logs, and site documentation.

Perform quality control checks and inspections.

Monitor and manage inventory of materials, tools, and equipment.

Provide technical guidance and mentorship to electricians and other crew members.

Identify and resolve issues quickly to minimize project delays.
Qualifications:

Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical construction supervision, preferably in commercial and/or multi-family residential new construction.

Journeyman or Master Electrician license preferred but not required.

In-depth knowledge of NEC code, safety regulations, and construction practices.

Ability to read and understand electrical schematics, blueprints, and construction documents.

Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.

Proven ability to manage crews, schedules, budgets, and materials effectively.

Proficient with Microsoft Office and construction management software (e.g., Procore, PlanGrid, etc.).

Valid drivers license with a clean driving record.

OSHA 30 Certification preferred.
