Job brief
Were looking for a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE)a systems thinker who thrives on scaling complex infrastructure, automating operations, and preventing outages before they happen. As we expand beyond FX and deepen our product offerings, your role will be critical in ensuring the stability, performance, and resilience of our platform.
Key Responsibilities
Infrastructure Automation: Design and manage scalable infrastructure using tools like Terraform, Docker, and Kubernetes.System Monitoring: Develop observability practices across services with metrics, logging, and alerting (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog).
Reliability Engineering: Implement fault-tolerant systems and processes to minimize downtime and ensure business continuity.
CI/CD & DevOps: Maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines that support fast, safe, and automated releases.
Security & Compliance: Contribute to the hardening of environments through secure configurations, vulnerability remediation, and threat modeling.
Incident Response: Lead the response to critical incidents, conduct root cause analysis, and continuously improve incident handling practices.
Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, product, and operations teams to ensure reliability is baked into everything we build.
Essential Skills & Experience
Cloud Native: Strong experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure in production environments
Automation First: Proficiency with infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform and scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or Go
Containerization: Solid understanding of Docker and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes
Monitoring & Logging: Familiar with modern observability stacks (e.g., Prometheus, ELK, Datadog)
CI/CD & Version Control: Experience with GitHub Actions, GitOps practices, and deployment automation
Ops Mindset: Youve participated in on-call rotations and can handle incident response with a calm, methodical approach
Preferred Qualifications
Fintech Background: Familiarity with financial infrastructure, FX, or risk management
Startup DNA: You're comfortable with ambiguity, lean teams, and fast iteration
Security Skills: Experience with hardening cloud deployments and adhering to compliance frameworks
Analytics Familiarity: Understanding of how to support data science pipelines and compute infrastructure (e.g., NumPy, Pandas, ML workloads)
Educational Requirements
Degree: B.S. in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
Experience: Minimum 3 years in SRE, DevOps, or Infrastructure Engineering, ideally within fintech or SaaS
