Draftsman

Work with a construction firm in Australia!

We are currently seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Draftsman to join our team! The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of AutoCAD and Revit, as well as experience in architectural drawings. They should also possess a fair understanding of detailing and the ability to develop drawings independently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create accurate and detailed drawings using AutoCAD and Revit
• Collaborate with architects and engineers to understand project requirements
• Review and revise drawings based on feedback from project team
• Ensure all drawings comply with industry standards and regulations
• Use advanced software features to enhance drawings and presentations
• Maintain organized and up-to-date project files
• Communicate effectively with team members to ensure project deadlines are met
• Attend project meetings and provide technical support as needed
• Continuously improve drafting techniques and processes to increase efficiency and accuracy

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering or a related field
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Draftsman
• Proficient in AutoCAD and Revit
• Strong understanding of architectural drawings and detailing
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Experience with 3D modeling software is a plus
