Senior Backend Developer (PHP)

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Backend Developer (PHP) to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in PHP development and be able to take on a leadership role in our development projects. Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the development and implementation of new features and functionalities for our clients' websites and web applications
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop efficient and scalable solutions
• Write clean, well-documented, and efficient code in PHP
• Troubleshoot and debug issues in a timely manner
• Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in backend development
• Mentor and provide guidance to junior developers
• Conduct code reviews and ensure coding standards are met
• Participate in project planning and estimation
• Communicate effectively with clients and project managers to understand project requirements and provide updates on progress
• Continuously improve development processes and procedures to ensure efficiency and quality

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in backend development, with at least 3 years of experience in PHP
• Strong knowledge of PHP frameworks such as Laravel, Symfony, or CodeIgniter
• Experience with database management and optimization (MySQL, MongoDB)
• Proficient in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Experience with version control systems (Git, SVN)
• Good understanding of front-end technologies and frameworks (React, Angular, Vue)
• Experience in leading and mentoring a team of developers
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Willingness to adapt and learn new technologies
• Experience in Agile development methodologies is a plus
