Web Developer

About the Role

We are looking for a talented Website Developer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for building multiple small medium sites for health professionals each month. The position offers an exciting opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients and contribute to a rapidly growing organisation committed to making a difference in the healthcare industry.

We value team members who bring a range of skills to the table, including website design and an understanding of user experience (UX). You will play a key role in delivering websites that not only look great but also meet our clients functional and technical needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Build, customise, and launch websites using WordPress and Themeco Pro page builder.
• Collaborate with the internal team to ensure websites align with the clients brand, voice, and goals.
• Perform basic image editing tasks, such as optimising for web or modifying vector images, to enhance website aesthetics.
• Ensure websites are optimised for speed, responsiveness, and accessibility.
• Provide ongoing technical support and maintenance for existing websites.
• Stay up-to-date with web development trends and best practices to improve website performance and user experience.
• Assist with quality assurance (QA) testing to ensure all websites are error-free and functional.

Essential Skills, Qualifications, and Experience

• Minimum of 4 years demonstrated experience developing WordPress websites.
• Be able to adapt and train yourself in working with and keeping current on the ThemeCo Pro Pager Builder. We will give guidance but we are looking for pro-active web developers who can take on new platforms and are able to learn for themselves.
• Strong working knowledge of the Advanced Custom Fields (ACF) plugin and demonstrated experience in building sites with dynamic content.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with clients and team members.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.

Desirable Skills and Experience

• Experience using Themeco Pro page builder. This is the builder we use for all of our websites.
• Proficiency with Photoshop or similar tools to modify and enhance images for websites.
• An understanding of user experience (UX) principles and website design best practices.
