We are looking for an IT Support Specialist to work for a Constructions Company in Australia!
Job Qualifications:
- Prioritizing a customer-centric approach is crucial for the swift and professional resolution of user issues. Patience and empathy stand out as valuable attributes.
- Proficient in independently analysing and resolving simple technical problems, employing a logical and methodical approach to issue resolution.
- Adept at documenting support activities through ticketing systems to uphold a comprehensive record of issues and resolutions.
- Possesses a foundational understanding of computer hardware, software, and operating systems, coupled with familiarity in common applications and troubleshooting procedures.
- Demonstrates fundamental knowledge of Windows 10/11 Operating Systems and proficiency in administering Microsoft Office 365.
- Experienced in managing network switches and access points.
- Exhibits excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, along with adept presentation and negotiation abilities.
- Brings forth demonstrated experience in a help desk role.
- Skilled in setting up and troubleshooting mobile devices, as well as utilizing Teams for audio and video conferencing.
- Familiarity with ITSM-style service desk software, including proficiency in FreshService and Atlassian.
- Displays a willingness to collaborate with other IT team members, recognizing the value of supportive teamwork in enhancing overall efficiency and effectiveness.
Preferred Experience (but not required):
- Familiarity with virtualization platforms such as HyperV or VMWare, as well as Azure Cloud.
- Knowledge of PowerShell and VB scripts.
- Experience in managing key server roles, including but not limited to AD, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, etc.
- Proficiency in working with SQL.
- Background in working within and supporting a Citrix environment.
- Experience with Microsoft Security Suite, Modern Authentication, Intune, and Autopilot.
- Familiarity with CHEOPS / Cubit.
