LEVEL 1 IT SUPPORT JOB DESCRIPTION

Position Overview:

As a Level 1 IT Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing first-line technical support to staff across all branches, handling IT tickets, and assisting with system-related issues. This role requires strong problem-solving abilities and excellent communication skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle IT support tickets efficiently and effectively, providing timely resolutions to technical issues
  • Create and manage new user accounts and formats in the system to ensure seamless processes
  • Assist with basic troubleshooting of the PRONTO application and provide guidance on its usage
  • Resolve technical issues related to sales systems and trackers, ensuring minimal disruption to operations
  • Provide first-line and after-hours support in addressing hardware and software related concerns

Qualifications:

  • Must have solid 2-5 years of IT support experience, demonstrating knowledge and proficiency in handling technical support tasks
  • Preferred experience in the following technologies: PRONTO or similar applications, inventory applications, CRM systems, Excel, and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Previous experience within the construction sector or building supplies stores is highly desirable
