We are currently looking for a Social Media Specialist to join our growing team. As a Social Media Specialist, you will be responsible for managing and growing the social media presence of our Australian clients. You will work closely with our clients to understand their brand and develop social media strategies that align with their business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Social Media Management: Oversee the daily management of social media accounts, including content scheduling, posting, and monitoring. Ensure that all posts align with our brands voice and objectives.
  • Content Creation: Develop and create high-quality, engaging content tailored to different social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok). This includes text, images, and videos.
  • Engagement Growth: Implement strategies to increase social media engagement, including likes, comments, shares, and follows. Actively interact with followers to build relationships and foster a vibrant online community.
  • Follower Acquisition: Develop and execute tactics to grow our social media following organically. Utilize best practices to attract new followers and convert them into loyal brand advocates.
  • Campaign Management: Plan, execute, and manage social media campaigns designed to drive traffic, boost brand awareness, and promote products or services. Monitor campaign performance and optimize based on data and feedback.
  • Analytics and Reporting: Track and analyze social media metrics to measure the effectiveness of campaigns and content. Provide regular reports with actionable insights to improve engagement, reach, and overall social media strategy.
  • Trend Monitoring: Stay updated with the latest social media trends, tools, and best practices. Adapt strategies and content to leverage new opportunities and maintain a competitive edge.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing, PR, and customer service teams to ensure a cohesive brand message and to integrate social media efforts with overall marketing strategies.
  • Crisis Management: Address and manage any negative feedback or social media crises in a professional and timely manner, protecting the brands reputation.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Social Media Specialist or in a similar role, with a track record of successful social media management and growth.
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok) and management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer).
  • Demonstrated ability to grow engagement and increase social media following through effective strategies and content.
  • Proficiency in social media analytics and reporting tools, with the ability to derive insights and recommendations from data.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a knack for creating compelling content and engaging with audiences.
  • Creative thinking with a keen eye for detail and design.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple projects and deadlines efficiently.
  • Familiarity with SEO principles and best practices is a plus.
