The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in bookkeeping and accounting, excellent attention to detail, and a strong understanding of financial principles and regulations.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Bookkeeping and accounts administration for multiple entities
  • Execute daily bank reconciliations in Xero with precision.
  • Handle weekly payroll processing, including superannuation contributions, in compliance with regulations.
  • Timely preparation and submission of Payroll Tax reports.
  • Accurately prepare and lodge Business Activity Statements (BAS).
  • Efficiently manage creditors using HubDoc, optimising the accounts payable process.
  • Uploading batch payments as required
  • Ability to pick up processes quickly

Qualifications:

  • Extensive experience with general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, and bank reconciliations.
  • Proven track record in preparing and maintaining financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Experience managing payroll processing and related tax filings (state and federal).
  • Strong background in managing financial audits, ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.
  • Advanced proficiency with accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, or similar tools).
  • Attention to detail with an ability to identify discrepancies and correct errors.
