About the Role

The Social Media Specialist will develop, implement, and manage social media strategies for an Australian transportation company. This role is responsible for growing the brand's online presence, increasing audience engagement, and creating visually compelling marketing content across digital platforms.

This position is ideal for a creative and detail-oriented professional with strong skills in social media management, graphic content creation, and digital storytelling.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, create, and manage content for LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, and other social media platforms.
  • Develop and execute social media strategies aligned with brand and marketing objectives.
  • Create engaging graphic marketing materials, promotional collaterals, and digital content for campaigns and branding initiatives.
  • Maintain content calendars, schedule posts, and manage community engagement.
  • Monitor social media performance and prepare reports with insights and recommendations.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure consistent branding and messaging.
  • Stay updated on social media trends, tools, and best practices.
  • Perform other marketing and administrative tasks related to content creation and brand support.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Multimedia Arts, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in social media management and digital marketing.
  • Strong background in creating graphic marketing content and promotional materials.
  • Proficient in tools such as Canva, CapCut, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar design/video editing platforms.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Strong understanding of content strategy, audience engagement, and social media analytics.
  • Creative, self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work independently in a remote environment.
