About Bluejay
Bluejay is building the simulation, observability, and self-improvement layer for Voice AI agents, with a mission to be the trust layer between AI and humanity. Founders Faraz and Rohan left Microsoft and AWS, where they built critical infrastructure for MSFT Copilot and AWS Bedrock. Voice is the hardest modality for AI, and Bluejay builds the simulation, observability, and evaluation infrastructure to make voice the default medium between humans and technology.
In just one year, Google, DoorDash, public healthcare companies, public banks, most drive-through fast-food chains, and corporations across five continents have adopted Bluejay. It handles millions of calls a month, which creates hard, real-time engineering problems.
Founded: 2025 | Team size: ~10 | Total funding: $4M seed (2025) Investors: Floodgate, PeakXV, Y Combinator Industry: AI Tools / Voice AI infrastructure Website: getbluejay.ai Office: The Sky, Union Square, San Francisco
Why Candidates Should Join
- Real traction, tiny team: ~10 people, seven-figure revenue, millions of calls/month, and marquee customers (Google, DoorDash, public banks) within a year of founding.
- Founder pedigree: Ex-Microsoft (Copilot) and AWS (Bedrock) infrastructure engineers.
- Hard real-time problems at scale: Voice is the hardest AI modality; you own the simulation/eval infrastructure behind real-time conversation at massive scale.
- Full ownership: High-bar IC/lead role with end-to-end technical ownership on a small team.
