About Eli Health
Eli Health is making continuous hormone monitoring possible through its flagship product, the Hormometer — the first instant hormone monitoring platform to deliver results from saliva to a mobile app. Developed over six years of R&D and more than 2,000 product iterations, the platform turns hormones into measurable, trackable signals for stress, endurance, sleep, and more. The team is approximately 25 full-time employees plus around a dozen contractors and advisors, and is scaling a regulated physical product shipped direct-to-consumer across Canada and the US.
Founded: 2019 | Team size: ~25 FTE (+ ~12 contractors/advisors) | Stage: Series A Industry: Healthcare / consumer health hardware Website: eli.health Office: Montreal, QC
Why Candidates Should Join
- Own it end to end: Sole owner of everything between suppliers and customers' doorsteps — procurement, inventory, logistics, cross-border, and fulfillment — with no established playbook to inherit.
- Clear path to Head of Operations: IC role today reporting directly to the founder, positioned to build and lead the full operations function as the company scales.
- Regulated hardware at a scaling stage: A Series A consumer-health product where quality and compliance matter, and where supply chain is a core competitive lever, not a back-office function.

The Role
Eli ships a regulated physical product across borders and is scaling fast. The SCM & Fulfillment Lead owns everything between Eli's suppliers and its customers' doorsteps — sourcing, procurement, inventory, logistics, and order fulfillment — including the complexity of Canada-to-US cross-border shipping and customs. This is an individual contributor role today, with a clear pathway to build and lead the full operations function over time.
What You'll Be Doing
- Own the end-to-end supply chain: vendor selection, qualification, audits, long-term relationship management, and backup sourcing for all critical components
- Eliminate cross-border delays and customs friction in Canada-to-US shipping, managing carrier selection, 3PL relationships, and importer-of-record structures
- Build and roll out inventory-tracking and procurement-planning systems giving leadership real-time visibility into inventory levels, landed costs, and order status
- Drive COGS reduction through vendor negotiations, alternative sourcing, and process improvements as order volume scales
- Own the interface between supply chain and manufacturing on materials planning and production scheduling
- Set performance standards and accountability for all external partners: suppliers, freight forwarders, 3PLs, and carriers
Tech stack: N/A (operations role — inventory/procurement systems to be built)
Requirements
- 3 to 7 years supply chain and fulfillment ownership (physical product)
- Cross-border Canada-to-US shipping and customs experience
- Regulated consumer product background (health, food, skincare, or diagnostics)
- Startup or high-agility environment, builds from scratch
- Montreal in-person, 5 days per week (startup hours)
- Engineering or technical background a strong plus
Green Flags
- Startup experience in a scaling physical product company
- D2C experience in a regulated or quasi-regulated space
- Engineering or technical background paired with supply chain experience
- Demonstrated company values alignment: grit, openness, purpose, ownership, and first-principles thinking
- Early-stage experience at a consumer health wearable or adjacent hardware company
Red Flags
- Frequent short tenures without a logical explanation
- Only large-organization experience with no startup exposure
- Focused on title or status rather than the work
- Rigid experience mindset, applies past patterns without questioning them
