About the Company

Our client is a well-funded, Series B AI company building autonomous agents for a structured, high-stakes professional-services domain, with strong backing from top-tier venture investors. Their agents are already in production doing real work for real customers, and their capabilities are improving rapidly. The team has grown quickly over the past year and plans to more than double again over the next 12 to 18 months.

Founded 2023 · ~150 people · Industry: AI, Financial Services, Enterprise

The Role

Own some of the highest-leverage product bets end to end. You will lead entire product areas rather than inherit a roadmap, working close enough to the engineering decisions to shape them, and taking ideas from problem definition all the way to production.

What you'll be doing

  • Own product strategy and execution for one or more major product areas, from finding the right problems to shipping production-grade solutions.
  • Translate customer needs and complex domain workflows into detailed specs, agent behaviors, and product primitives that engineers can build on.
  • Partner directly with ML engineers, prompt architects, and domain experts to define what the agents do, how they behave, and when they hand off to a human.
  • Prototype, run small experiments, and get something in front of users before the engineering sprint starts.
  • Make prioritization calls that weigh technical complexity, model performance, customer value, and revenue impact.

Tech stack: AI and data tooling.

Requirements

  • Product management experience at a high-growth B2B SaaS or AI startup (roughly Series A through Series E).
  • 5 to 15 years leading products or business functions at high-growth startups.
  • A STEM undergraduate degree, ideally in computer science and from a strong program.
  • At least one standout signal on your background: a demanding degree from a top school, a company you founded, a personal project that gained real traction, published writing or a podcast, or time at a leading AI lab.
  • Consistent tenure, averaging around 1.5+ years per role.
  • Hands-on experience working alongside engineering teams on technically deep products (ML-driven features, API or data platforms, or AI agents).
  • Able to code proficiently, or a genuine power user of AI coding tools.

Nice to Haves

  • Prior experience as a founder, or as one of the earliest product hires at a startup (ideally in-seat 1.5+ years).
  • Previous work on AI or agentic products.

Why Join

  • Well-funded and fast-growing, with strong investor backing and real market momentum.
  • Own major product areas end to end and help set the direction rather than execute someone else's plan.
  • Build production AI agents that are already doing meaningful work for customers.
