Job Title: Integration Developer Informatica

Job Purpose:

The job purpose of an Integration developer is to oversee and manage the seamless integration of systems, processes, or technologies within an organization. The primary objective is to ensure that different components can effectively work together, enabling efficient data flow, improved operational processes, and enhanced overall performance. The integration developer is responsible for strategically planning and executing integration projects, coordinating with stakeholders, analyzing requirements, mitigating risks, ensuring quality control, and driving continuous improvement. Ultimately, the goal is to facilitate successful integration initiatives that align with the organization's objectives, optimize efficiency, and contribute to overall business success. Design,develop the solution, facilitate the development, and support of core modules of the Enterprise. Develop and technical specifications to address new/change requirements to meet the business requirements and technology changes.

Qualifications, Experience, & Skills

Responsibilities:

  • Analyzing data integration requirements, analysing data sources and targets, business rules, and transformation logic
  • Design, develop and maintain Informatica cloud data integration processes using the appropriate data load technique, including Push-Down Optimization for performance optimization
  • Works with non-technical, subject matter experts to understand underlying data behaviour and characteristics in ways that will be new for such non-technical people.
  • Ensure industry standard approach followed for all types of integrations.
  • Independently analyzes and documents impacts of business requests on existing system.
  • Create and refine technical documentation and fallback mechanism.
  • Create and maintain processes/programs to adapt to changes in needs and requirements.

Academic:

  • A bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as computer science, information technology, or engineering is typically required.
  • A master's degree or additional certifications in areas such as project management or business process management can be advantageous.

Technical:

  • Cloud Data and Application Integration R38, Professional Certification is a must.
  • PMI - ACP Certification will be an advantage.
  • TOGAF Certification will be an advantage.

Experience:

  • Proven experience in managing integration projects and initiatives, preferably in a similar role as an Integration Technical lead or a related position.
  • Experience with integrating diverse systems, applications, and technologies within complex IT environments.
  • Strong knowledge of various integration methodologies, such as Enterprise Service Bus (ESB), Application Programming Interface (API) management, or service-oriented architecture (SOA).
  • Knowledge of industry-specific integration challenges, standards, and regulations, if applicable.
  • Create artifacts from the perspective of technology, product, domain, and infrastructure as applicable
  • Provide data analysis to support new project definition/design to troubleshoot/resolve issues with existing subject areas
  • Follow established standards and best practices and provide input for improvement of those processes

Skills:

  • IICS: Cloud Data Integration Services.
  • Cloud Application Integration Services for Developers
  • Expertise with the IICS command line utility.
  • Experience with Java script transformations in IICS
  • Strong understanding of data integration, transformation, and mapping processes.
  • Well versed with all types of security and data privacy elements of integration.
  • Strong technical knowledge of integration concepts, adapters, patterns, and protocols.
  • Expertise with relevant technologies and protocols such as RESTful, SOAP, XML, JSON, and messaging systems (e.g., JMS), service Oriented and Event Driven architecture (SOA/EDA).
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills to identify integration requirements, evaluate system compatibility, and troubleshoot issues.
  • Solid understanding of Data integration, Data Quality, data Architecture and Master Data Management, project life cycle Phases, best practices, and processes
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively with stakeholders from various departments and levels within the organization.
  • Ability to clearly convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and translate business requirements into technical specifications.
  • Strong negotiation and influencing skills to manage expectations, resolve conflicts, and align integration initiatives with organizational goals.
  • Collaborative mindset and the ability to work well in cross-functional teams, including developers, architects, business analysts, and project managers.
  • Ability to establish and maintain relationships with external vendors, partners, or service providers involved in integration projects.
  • Strong presentation skills to deliver updates, reports, and recommendations to management and other relevant stakeholders.
