Job Title: IT Project Coordinator
Responsibilities:
1. Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of IT projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.
2. Create and maintain project documentation, including project plans, schedules, status reports, and meeting minutes.
3. Coordinate project meetings, workshops, and reviews, ensuring all stakeholders are informed and engaged throughout the project lifecycle.
4. Track project progress, milestones, and deliverables, identifying and addressing any issues or risks that may impact project timelines or objectives.
5. Collaborate with project managers, technical teams, and business stakeholders to gather requirements, define project scope, and prioritize tasks.
6. Assist in resource allocation, including coordinating with internal teams and external vendors to ensure timely delivery of project resources.
7. Support change management activities, including communicating project updates, managing change requests, and facilitating stakeholder engagement.
8. Monitor project budgets and expenditures, tracking costs against project estimates and providing regular financial reports to project stakeholders.
9. Coordinate with IT infrastructure and support teams to ensure smooth deployment and integration of project deliverables into production environments.
10. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, identifying opportunities to streamline processes, improve project management methodologies, and enhance overall project delivery capabilities.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field.
2. 5+ years proven experience of working in a project coordination or project management role, in the IT industry.
3. Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
5. Detail-oriented and analytical, with a proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
6. Proficiency in project management tools and software, such as Microsoft Project, Jira
7. Knowledge of project management methodologies, such as Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall, is desirable.
8. Familiarity with IT infrastructure, software development lifecycle (SDLC), and IT service management (ITSM) processes is a plus.
9. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
10. Certification in project management (e.g., PMP, CAPM, PRINCE2) is preferred but not required.
