IT Support Specialist

 Job Description:

We are currently seeking a seasoned IT Support Specialist, proficient in Microsoft products and services, to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in maintaining our reputation for excellent customer service and technical proficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

Technical Support and Troubleshooting:

  • Provide high-level technical support, resolving complex issues related to Microsoft products, including cloud-based services and system integration.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware, software, and network systems to ensure optimal workplace IT performance.

Systems Integration:

  • Seamlessly integrate various Microsoft products and services into the existing IT infrastructure.
  • Ensure smooth and efficient interoperability between cloud-based services and on-premises solutions.

Maintenance and Upgrades:

  • Regularly evaluate and maintain IT systems to ensure they are up-to-date and running efficiently.
  • Plan and execute system upgrades with minimal downtime, ensuring continuity of service for all users.

Training, Consultation, and SOP Development:

  • Provide expert guidance and training to staff on the use of Microsoft products and services.
  • Develop, write, and maintain full Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for all Microsoft-related activities, ensuring clarity and ease of use for all staff members.
  • Continually update skills and knowledge of the latest Microsoft technologies and industry best practices.

Documentation controlling, Compliance, and Digital Archiving:

  • Vet and OCR all bilingual data to sort and index for optimum search and efficiency on sharepoint
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation for system configurations, procedures, and service records.
  • Perform mass archiving and indexing of digital documents, ensuring data is organized and easily retrievable.
  • Ensure all IT activities and systems comply with industry standards and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Proven work experience (minimum 5 years) in IT support or a similar role with a strong focus on Microsoft products and services.
  • Relevant certifications in Microsoft products/services (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate, Microsoft 365 Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate).
  • Solid understanding of cloud services (e.g., Azure), system integration, and IT support principles.
  • Experience in developing and maintaining SOPs, as well as managing large-scale digital archiving and indexing projects.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with an emphasis on providing exceptional customer service.
  • Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
