Job Title: IT Project Manager- Ecommerce
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Project Planning and Execution: Develop and maintain project plans, including scope, timelines, resource allocation, and budgeting to ensure the successful implementation of e-commerce initiatives.
2. E-commerce Platform Expertise: Leverage in-depth knowledge of e-commerce platforms and technologies to make informed decisions about platform selection, integrations, and customizations.
3. Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with web developers (internal and external ), UX/UI designers, marketing professionals, and IT specialists to ensure seamless integration of e-commerce initiatives with existing systems and processes.
4. Stakeholder Management: Engage with key stakeholders to gather requirements, provide project updates, and ensure that the e-commerce project meets the needs of the business and its customers.
5. Agile Methodologies: Utilize agile project management methodologies to facilitate iterative development, adapt to changing requirements, and deliver value to the business in short cycles.
6. Risk Management: Identify potential risks and issues related to e-commerce project delivery, and develop mitigation strategies to address them.
7. User Experience (UX) and Conversion Optimization: Focus on improving the user experience of the e-commerce platform and optimizing the conversion funnel to drive sales and enhance customer satisfaction.
8. Highly experienced in managing Tier 1 Vendors: Manage relationships with external vendors or e-commerce solution providers to ensure the successful delivery of e-commerce solutions and services.
9. Continuous Improvement: Foster a culture of continuous improvement to innovate and enhance the e-commerce offering.
KEY SKILLS / EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelors degree in IT or business or related field or an MBA.
- 8+ years of experience in Project Management within E-commerce.
- Deep understanding of e-commerce platforms and technologies
- Strong knowledge of agile methodologies and experience in leading agile e-commerce projects.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and manage vendor relationships.
- Strong problem-solving and risk management skills to address challenges and mitigate project risks.
- Leadership skills to drive the e-commerce project team and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
- Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills.
- Advanced technical skills and experience of managing E-commerce programs and projects.
- Excellent documentation and comprehension skills.
- Fundamental analytical and conceptual thinking skills.
- Experience creating detailed reports and giving presentations.
- Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, Power point and Visio.
- Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills.
- Experience leading major projects in the market and part of top-performing teams.
