Project Manager

 Job Description:

1 Role Purpose

Required to manage infrastructure, solution development and/or solution delivery projects under our portfolio.

2 Job Description

· Responsible and accountable for the coordinated management of multiple related projects directed toward customers strategic business and other organizational objectives.

· Build credibility, establish rapport, and maintain communication with stakeholders at multiple levels, including those external to the organization.

· Establishing the overall success criteria for a project, including time, cost, technical and performance parameters

· Responsible for effectively initiating, planning, scheduling, estimating, forecasting, coordinating, controlling, managing and delivering all activities for projects and related release initiatives.

· Review and approve all project documentation.

· Risk Management & Issue tracking for managing the day-to-day operational aspects of the project.

3 Experience and Skills

· 5 years relevant experience managing and delivering projects of various complexity levels

Project Management Skills

o Proficient in spreadsheets (MS Excel), word processing (MS Word), presentation (MS PowerPoint), project scheduling (MS Project), workflow (MS Visio), e-workspace (SharePoint Portal Server 2003)

· Excellent planning, communication, verbal, written, presentation skills and report writing skills are essential.

4 Personal and Qualification

1) Qualification:

Qualified to Degree level with one or more of the following Project management certifications: Certified CAPM and/or PMP Certified and/or PRINCE 2 Practitioner
