Job Summary:
The Sourcing Associate plays a key role in the talent acquisition team by identifying and engaging passive candidates, developing talent pipelines, and supporting the recruitment process for various roles. This position requires a proactive approach to talent sourcing, research, and outreach to ensure the organization has access to the best talent.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with recruiters and hiring managers to understand hiring needs and job specifications.
- Utilize various sourcing methods such as online job boards, social media platforms (LinkedIn, Facebook, etc.), databases, and networking to identify potential candidates.
- Proactively reach out to passive candidates and engage them in the hiring process through direct communication (emails, calls, messages).
- Develop and maintain talent pipelines for frequently recruited roles or high-priority positions.
- Screen resumes and assess candidate qualifications to match them with job requirements.
- Maintain accurate and organized candidate information in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) or candidate database.
- Conduct market research to identify new sourcing channels and build a network of potential candidates.
- Assist in organizing recruitment events, career fairs, and talent networking events.
- Communicate regularly with candidates to keep them engaged throughout the hiring process.
- Monitor sourcing metrics and provide regular reports on sourcing progress and candidate pipeline health.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience in talent sourcing or recruiting, preferably in a corporate or BPO setting.
- Strong understanding of sourcing techniques, including Boolean searches and online databases.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and other recruitment tools.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Proactive and self-motivated, with a strong desire to learn and improve.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience sourcing for high-volume or specialized roles.
- Familiarity with candidate sourcing in specific industries (BPO, IT, finance, etc.).
- Knowledge of employment laws and regulations related to recruitment.
