Job Summary:

The Sourcing Associate plays a key role in the talent acquisition team by identifying and engaging passive candidates, developing talent pipelines, and supporting the recruitment process for various roles. This position requires a proactive approach to talent sourcing, research, and outreach to ensure the organization has access to the best talent.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with recruiters and hiring managers to understand hiring needs and job specifications.
  • Utilize various sourcing methods such as online job boards, social media platforms (LinkedIn, Facebook, etc.), databases, and networking to identify potential candidates.
  • Proactively reach out to passive candidates and engage them in the hiring process through direct communication (emails, calls, messages).
  • Develop and maintain talent pipelines for frequently recruited roles or high-priority positions.
  • Screen resumes and assess candidate qualifications to match them with job requirements.
  • Maintain accurate and organized candidate information in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) or candidate database.
  • Conduct market research to identify new sourcing channels and build a network of potential candidates.
  • Assist in organizing recruitment events, career fairs, and talent networking events.
  • Communicate regularly with candidates to keep them engaged throughout the hiring process.
  • Monitor sourcing metrics and provide regular reports on sourcing progress and candidate pipeline health.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in talent sourcing or recruiting, preferably in a corporate or BPO setting.
  • Strong understanding of sourcing techniques, including Boolean searches and online databases.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and other recruitment tools.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Proactive and self-motivated, with a strong desire to learn and improve.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience sourcing for high-volume or specialized roles.
  • Familiarity with candidate sourcing in specific industries (BPO, IT, finance, etc.).
  • Knowledge of employment laws and regulations related to recruitment.
