About the job Systems and Network Administration (Level 1)
Accountabilities:
- Successfully research and identify solutions to software and hardware issues.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot advanced technical issues, including but not limited to
- firewalls, switches, windows servers, and cloud environments such as Azure, account
- setup, network configuration, application support, Active Directory management,
- security incident response, etc.
- Communicate regularly with assigned clients to ensure service quality meets client
- expectations.
- Provide critical incident management and be the interface between clients and technical
- teams within the company during outages and other significant events!
- Prioritize and manage several open issues at one time.
- Document and follow up with clients to ensure their IT systems are fully functional after
- troubleshooting.
Requirements:
- 3 - 5 years of solid experience in Systems administration position, preferably in an
- MSP environment
- Advanced technical troubleshooting experience, recognizing and resolving issues in
- several IT environments.
- Strong proficiency in end-customer communication skills, with the ability to successfully
- identify and address concerns.
- Administration experience with Windows AD environments, storage area networks,
- DHCP, and DNS
- Robust knowledge of Citrix Virtual Apps & Desktops, Microsoft Failover Cluster,
- Microsoft Hyper-V Manager, Microsoft System Center Virtual Machine Manager
- (SCVMM)
- Experience with hypervisors and virtualizations sub-systems
- Administration experience with Microsoft Azure, Office365 and AWS.
- Desktop support expertise, including Windows, Mac OS X, Linux, and Office 365.
- Proficient in administering and troubleshooting VoIP system.
- Skilled in configuring and troubleshooting Cisco network equipment.
- Expertise in administering storage arrays and backup tools.
Additional:
- Professional IT Certifications such as MCSA or MCSE (Microsoft 365 & Azure), Cisco
- CCNA, CCNP, CCIE, or VMware VCP are ideal
